For bowel cleansing before X-ray, endoscopy or surgery.
How to use
The day before hospitalization, it is recommended to switch to a low-slag diet. To avoid dehydration while using CitraFlit, it is advisable to drink plenty of water (approximately 250 ml) or other clear liquid. The drug is used internally.
Powder Recovery Instructions
The content of one sachet was dissolved in water (approximately 150 ml). The resulting solution is cloudy. Stir for 2-3 minutes and drink the solution. If it gets hot, wait until it cools down enough to drink.
Adults (including elderly) 18 years of age.
If a study / surgery is scheduled for the second half of the next day, it is recommended that you use a separate admission regimen.
Separate reception (evening before and day of procedure)
The first sachet is taken in the evening before the day before the procedure, the second - in the morning on the day of the procedure.
In the day before the procedure - 1 sachet:
- the content of one sachet is dissolved in water as described above and taken in the evening, approximately between 17.00 and 21.00, on the day before the procedure, after which drink at least 5 glasses of clear liquid containing 250 ml.
On the day of the procedure - 1 sachet:
- the content of the second sachet is taken in the morning (5-9 hours before the procedure), after which drink at least 3 glasses of clear liquid with a content of 250 ml.
Transparent fluid can be drunk no later than an hour before the procedure.
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug, congestive heart failure, disorders of gastric emptying, gastrointestinal ulcers, toxic colitis, toxic megacolon, intestinal obstruction, nausea and vomiting, acute abdominal pathologies requiring surgical, acute also diagnosed or suspected gastrointestinal obstruction or perforation, severe dehydration, rhabdomyolysis, hypermagnesemia, an active inflammatory process in the intestine.
Plasma magnesium accumulation may be observed in patients with severely impaired renal function. In such cases, another drug should be used.
Active ingredients: 1 sachet pack contains picosulfate sodium 0.01 g, light magnesium oxide 3.50 g, anhydrous citric acid 10.97 g.
Excipients: potassium bicarbonate, saccharin sodium, lemon flavor.
15.08 g of powder in a sachet pack; 2 packs or 50 packs (packing for hospitals) in a cardboard box.
Keep out of reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
