3,3'-Diindolylmethane (DIM) is the main biologically active indole derivative, accounting for approximately 60% of the end product of indole-3-carbinol (I3C) metabolism found in cruciferous vegetables: broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and white cabbage. DIM is characterized by high bioavailability and stability: in experimental models, it has been shown that I3C self-condenses to form DIM.

DIM has anti-estrogenic activity, helps to normalize the balance of estrogens, enhances the activity of cytochrome P450 enzymes, which prevents excessive formation of the pathological metabolite 16a-hydroxyestrone and increases the formation of the normal metabolite 2-hydroestrone.

By reducing the level of estrogen and other steroid hormones, DIM (as the main end metabolite of I3C) can prevent the stimulation of pathological processes in the reproductive organs and mammary glands in women. It is also suggested that DIM (as the main end metabolite of I3C) has beneficial biological activities, which include anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. In addition, I3C may regulate signaling pathways associated with angiogenesis, apoptosis, cell proliferation, and invasion.

Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) is the main catechin found in green tea and has a pronounced antioxidant effect. The antiproliferative activity of EGCG is based on its ability to block the development of inflammatory reactions by reducing the activity of cyclooxygenase, prostaglandins and pro-inflammatory cytokines; the ability to block the expression of apoptosis-blocking protein and increase the level of apoptosis-stimulating protein in pathologically altered cells, inducing apoptosis in them; to block the action of certain active growth factors (insulin-like, epidermal, epithelial, fibroblast) that cause cell proliferation and pathological neoangiogenesis; to block nuclear transcription factor and thereby prevent the cascade of proliferative signals from the cell surface to the nucleus.

Turmeric extract is a part of Curcuwin Ultra+ complex. Curcuwin Ultra+ is manufactured with the patented Ultrasol technology, which converts lipophilic compounds and poorly absorbed nutrients into water-dispersible ingredients to improve their absorption. Ultrasol technology creates a water-dispersible curcumin complex that dissolves quickly and retains solubility for a long time to protect and improve the absorption of curcuminoids. Curcuwin Ultra+ contains turmeric extract with a hydrophilic carrier, cellulose derivatives and natural antioxidants to improve the bioavailability of curcuminoids. Curcuwin Ultra+ has been shown to have up to 144 times greater bioavailability and 101 times higher maximum blood concentrations of curcumin than regular curcumin powder, and Curcuwin Ultra+ has been shown to be absorbed 40% faster than standard curcumin.

Turmeric extract contains various constituents, including curcumin, essential oils, δ-ellandrene, cingiberene, and sabinene. Curcumin is the most studied in terms of its use in medicine and has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, hepatoprotective, choleretic, anticoagulant, anti-proliferative, anti-edematous, cardioprotective and immunomodulatory (modulates the functions of T cells, B cells, dendritic cells, monocytes, macrophages and neutrophils) properties.

Curcumin is the most active ingredient in turmeric extract, used as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant agent. Studies have demonstrated its anti-inflammatory properties in the form of inhibition of the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1, IL-6, TNF-α, etc.), inhibition of transcriptional nuclear factor κB (NF-κB) inhibition of proinflammatory enzymes (cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), 5-lipoxygenase (5-LO) and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), which leads to a decrease in prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) and nitric oxide (NO) levels.

Adults take 2 (two) capsules once a day or 1 (one) capsule twice a day with food. Take the capsules whole, do not chew or open, with half a glass of drinking water. Duration of use: 3-6 months.
