Promotes memory and attention stimulation, increases performance, helps to eliminate psycho-emotional stress, improves sleep. Improves psychological performance (attention, memory, speed and accuracy of sensorimotor reactions). Promotes stabilization of psycho-emotional state at emotional lability. 

Information

Indications for use (instruction): Quattrex

Asthenic and anxiety-neurotic states (emotional lability, impaired memory, decreased concentration of attention), anxiety, fear, anxiety, neurosis of obsessive states;

in children – stuttering, enuresis, tics; in older people – insomnia, nighttime anxiety.

Prevention of stressful conditions, before operations or painful diagnostic tests.

As an aid in the treatment of withdrawal symptoms in alcoholism.

Assign also for Meniere's disease, dizziness associated with dysfunction of the vestibular apparatus, for the prevention of motion sickness.

How to use

To apply inside before food, washing down with water.

In asthenic and anxiety-neurotic conditions for adults: appoint 250–500 mg 3 times a day. The highest single doses: for adults – 750 mg, for patients of a summer age – 500 mg.

The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks. If necessary, the course of treatment can be increased to 4–6 weeks.

Children over the age of 11 years – 250 mg 3 times a day; children over 14 years of age – doses for adults.

For the treatment of dizziness with dysfunction of the vestibular apparatus of infectious genesis and with Meniere's disease during the period of exacerbation: Quattrex is prescribed 750 mg 3 times a day for 5–7 days, with a decrease in the severity of vestibular disorders – 250–500 mg 3 times a day 5–7 days, then 250 mg 1 time per day for 5 days.

With a relatively mild course of illness, Quattrex should be used 250 mg 2 times a day for 5–7 days, then 250 mg 1 time per day for 7–10 days.

To treat dizziness with dysfunction of the vestibular apparatus of the vascular and traumatic genesis, Quattrex should be prescribed 250 mg 3 times a day for 12 days.

For the prevention of motion sickness: prescribe a dose of 250–500 mg once one hour before the expected start of motion sickness or when the first symptoms appear.

The effect of the drug Quattrex increases with increasing doses of the drug. In the presence of severe manifestations (nausea, vomiting), congestion of the drug is ineffective even at a dose of 750–1000 mg.

For the relief of alcohol withdrawal syndrome: Quattrex in the first days of treatment is prescribed 250–500 mg 3 times a day and 750 mg at night, with a gradual decrease in the daily dose to the usual for adults.

If one or more doses has been missed, continue at the previously prescribed doses. If necessary, or if you feel worse, the patient should consult a doctor.

Children. The drug can be used for children over the age of 11 years.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Acute renal failure. Age to 11 years.

Composition

Active substance: phenibut;

1 capsule contains Phenibut 250 mg

Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, talc gelatin composition, titanium dioxide (E 171).

Basic physical and chemical properties: hard gelatin capsules of white color.

The contents of the capsules are white or almost white powder.

Presence of compressed columns or lumps that break up when pressed is allowed.
