AXONAL LIMAG can be recommended as a dietary supplement to the diet as an additional source of magnesium, citicoline, vitamin B6 (pyridoxal-5-phosphate), bioflavonoids, flavonoid glycosides (quercetin, kaempferol, isorhamnetin), terpene trilactones, organic acids, proanthocyanidins in case of insufficient dietary intake (diet, unbalanced nutrition, alcohol abuse, etc.) or in case of increased need for them, including excessive physical and mental stress, mental fatigue, to prevent muscle cramps and tingling sensations in the muscles.

AXONAL LIMAG helps to: Improving memory, concentration, information analysis, learning ability, mental activity, improving cerebral circulation, normal functioning of the nervous system, counteracting stressful situations, emotional burnout or depression, normalizing psycho-emotional state and mood, eliminating irritability, increased excitability, anxiety, maintaining electrolyte balance, reducing fatigue and fatigue, weakness, normalizing sleep, normal muscle function, i.e. counteracting premature brain aging and promoting normalization of a significant number of metabolic processes in the body.

Functional properties of components

Citicoline sodium is a source of choline and cytidine, which are normal components of the body. Choline is a precursor of phospholipids, which is a structurally important component of cell membranes and cell organelles, trimethylglycine (betaine), which is metabolized in mitochondria and is an important coenzyme and osmoregulator, and the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which helps to maintain cognitive functions: memory, concentration, learning and mental activity. Citicoline is involved in the biosynthesis of structural components of neuronal membranes (phospholipids) and mitochondria (cardiolipin) and ensures the functioning of membrane ion exchange pumps, the modulation of which is necessary for the normal conduction of nerve impulses.

Ginkgo biloba extract (manufactured by INDENA S.A.S., France) helps to improve cerebral circulation, enhance visual acuity, improve memory, concentration and mental activity. It helps to reduce the manifestations of mental and physical fatigue that occurs in everyday life, work and psychological stress. Ginkgo biloba reduces the risk of mental impairment in the elderly. Ginkgo biloba is able to increase oxygen transport to the brain, increase electrical activity and improve energy metabolism of the brain, and helps to reduce tissue ischemia. Ginkgo biloba improves venous tone, reduces vascular wall permeability (decongestant effect), prevents red blood cell aggregation, inhibits platelet activation factor and improves venous outflow from the brain. It has antihypoxic and antioxidant effects.

The basis of GivoMag+ is magnesium glycerophosphate, which is a source of magnesium with high bioavailability and excellent absorption properties in the gastrointestinal tract. Magnesium bound by the glycerophosphate anion promotes better survival of magnesium ions in the stomach and small intestine, where they are absorbed into the bloodstream. Unlike other organic and inorganic magnesium salts, GivoMag+ does not cause gastrointestinal disorders (bloating and nausea) and has a low risk of diarrhea.  Glycerophosphate is an additional source of ATP energy and a key intermediate in the synthesis of phospholipids, which are the main component of biological membranes, including neuronal membranes.

Magnesium regulates calcium and sodium channels in cell membranes and, consequently, the concentration of these metals in cells. Normal functioning of ion channels protects muscle and nerve cells from hyperactivity and maintains heart rhythm. Magnesium helps to normalize the functional state of the nervous system in case of unbalanced nutrition or increased need for magnesium, during intense physical, mental, psycho-emotional stress to normalize the psycho-emotional state, mood and counteract stressful situations, emotional burnout or depression, helps to improve well-being in case of chronic fatigue, insomnia, irritability, constant anxiety, muscle spasms, tingling sensation in the body.

Pyridoxal-5-phosphate is the active form of Vitamin B6, which ensures normal energy metabolism and supports the proper functioning of the nervous system. This compound contributes to the maintenance of optimal protein and glycogen metabolism, helps the proper production of red blood cells, helps reduce fatigue and supports the optimal functioning of the immune system.

1 capsule contains: active ingredients: GivoMag+ mineral complex (magnesium glycerophosphate and magnesium oxide) – 375 mg (mg) (equivalent to elemental magnesium – 75 mg (mg)), citicoline sodium – 262 mg (mg) (equivalent to citicoline – 250 mg (mg)), dry ginkgo biloba leaf extract (Ginkgo biloba L. ) – 40 mg (including more than 24% of flavonoids, in terms of flavone glycosides; more than 6% of total terpene lactones), vitamin B6 (pyridoxal-5-phosphate) – 1.05 mg (mg); excipients: anti-caking agents: amorphous silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate; capsule shell: gelatin, coloring agent: titanium dioxide.

Adults take 2 capsules twice daily after meals with drinking water.

Duration of use

2-3 months. The duration may be extended upon a doctor's recommendation.

Do not exceed the indicated recommended amount for daily consumption. It should not be used as a substitute for a complete diet.  It is important to follow the rules of a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. It is recommended to be used with caution by persons who simultaneously use drugs metabolized by cytochrome P450 CYPZA4. Persons with a tendency to bleed (hemorrhagic tendency), who are treated with anticoagulants and antiplatelet agents, should consult a doctor before starting consumption. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
