Lavinal 15

Lavinal® 15 Spray is intended for the treatment of head lice and nits (head lice) in adults and children over 3 years of age. It is used for anti-lice measures in healthcare facilities, pediculosis centers, educational institutions, recreational facilities, and households.

The two-phase lotion formula, in spray form, is specially formulated without chemical insecticides, harsh thinners and parabens for fast, effective and easy use against lice and nits.

The effectiveness of the formula is confirmed by a French laboratory specializing in ectoparasites.

Lavinal® 15 Lice and Nits Spray kills lice and nits in one 15-minute application by stunning and dehydrating them and blocking their airways.

Tea tree oil, which is a part of Lavinal® 15, is well known for its anti-inflammatory and reparative effects, which helps to eliminate itching and irritation caused by skin combing and bites, helps to soothe the skin after combing, and stimulates the regeneration of microdamages in the areas of bites and combing.

Head lice do not develop resistance to Lavinal® 15 Anti-Lice and Nit Spray. The product does not lose its effectiveness with repeated applications.

Dimethicone, water, PEG-12 dimethicone, potassium sorbate, tea tree leaf oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia), citric acid.

The set includes everything you need to get rid of lice and nits effectively — Lavinal® 15 anti-lice and nit spray, a protective cap and a comb that makes it easy to comb out nits.

Be sure to. Shake the bottle well before use.

1. Spray the spray on your hair from root to tip. Make sure that the entire scalp and hair are covered. Massage to distribute the lotion evenly, paying special attention to the back of the head and behind the ears. 

2. Put the supplied cap on your head and wait 15 minutes. 

3. Wash your hair with shampoo. 

4. Remove any dead lice and nits.

Before drying your hair, you should carefully comb out dead lice and nits with a special comb included in the product package. Carefully divide the hair into parts, comb through the hair row by row, strand by strand, removing dead lice and nits. Slowly comb each strand, starting as close as possible — close to the scalp, downward — in the direction from the scalp to the ends of the hair. Move all lice and nit-free strands to one side. When combing out lice and nits, clean the comb as often as possible, preferably after combing out each individual strand. Try to comb out all the nits remaining on the hair thoroughly. If the hair dries, moisten it with water. 

5. Repeat the procedure after 10 days to remove any nits that may have hatched after the initial treatment and to ensure that the lice life cycle has been disrupted. 

6. To avoid reinfestation, it is important to treat the entire family at the same time. On the same day, treat all textiles and items with which the person affected by lice has come into contact (bedding, hats, collars, brushes, combs, toys, etc.). To disinfect clothes and things, it is enough to wash them at a temperature of at least 60°C and iron them with a hot iron, especially seams, folds, etc. It is also necessary to do a wet cleaning, thoroughly vacuum all carpets, upholstered furniture, upholstery in the car, etc., and then throw away the vacuum cleaner bag.

Special security measures

For external use only. Do not swallow. Do not apply to damaged skin. Avoid all contact with eyes, nasal mucosa and mouth. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Some ingredients may cause an allergic reaction. If you experience irritation or any other signs of hypersensitivity, discontinue use immediately. In case of ingestion, seek medical attention. If you are prone to allergic reactions, consult a doctor.

Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct exposure to cold, heat and light sources at temperatures between 15°C and 30°C. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package. 

Do not use for children under 3 years of age, pregnant and breastfeeding.
